Event Production and Management Internship – For Hire in Toronto
We’re excited to have new interns. Yes, we’re offering event production and management internships in Toronto. This opportunity is open for university students, co-op participants, or recent graduates seeking real-world experience. What’s more, college credit is available.
Since this is an unpaid internship, we encourage only those comfortable with this arrangement. But joining us allows you to gain practical skills, expand your professional network, and make meaningful contributions to the industry.
Your responsibilities are:
- Event planning, production, and management assistance
- Event installation, teardown, and cleanup assistance
- Client appointments and customer service assistance
- Preparation of quotes, invoices, and contracts
- Scheduling and hosting site visits
- Ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the event facility/venue
- Crafting, painting, and other creative tasks
- Unpacking and cleaning rental items
- Answering and following up with event inquiries
- Data entry tasks such as research, bookkeeping, and cash flow management
- Assistance in marketing and promotion of our brand and events
- Preparation and packing of client orders
- Proper packing, cleaning, and handling of inventory to prevent damage and deterioration
- Confirmation of cleanliness and proper storage of decor items, tools, and equipment
- General office work and maintenance, including some website work
- Handling all other event-related tasks
You can expect:
Internships last a minimum of 90-120 days, and interns are required to be present onsite for at least 16 hours per week, including event weeks, weekends, and occasionally late nights. Additionally, our involvement in sub-brands within the events/design industry means you’ll be assigned relevant tasks as needed.
Given the dynamic nature of startup environments, job tasks may change, demanding adaptability and introducing exciting new challenges.
